About Me:: During my husband's battle with primary CNS lymphoma (brain tumors) I was his caregiver. This was just one year after he cared for me during my battle with Guillain Barre. God really wanted us to learn what we are now trying to share with others--that it is important to share hope. No one can battle serious illness alone. That is the theme of my latest book, A Caregiver's Story: Coping with a Loved One's Life-Threatening Illness. Now my husband and I talk to cancer survivors (you are a survivor from the moment of diagnosis) and Guillain Barre survivors.

What I hope to gain from this network...: I hope to share hope and I also wish never to lose sight of the fact that there are a lot of suffering people in the world, waiting for one little bit of encouragement. Hope is as important as food when it comes to keeping the human spirit alive.

Best Recommended Resource and Why: God is the best resource I can think of. In my experience I can ask where to look for answers or I can ask for just one small bit of encouragement and His answer comes unfailingly.
