Upcoming Speaking Event--Looking for Resources to Add

I'm speaking on September, 23, 2007 in Warrenton, Virginia on "Transforming Pain into Purpose: One Day at a Time," and I'm looking for resources to recommend to those in attendance. I'm preparing a "Lifestyle Toolbox" for attendees and would love to add your resource to the list! If you have a book, ministry, video, or other resource you'd like to recommend, please contact me at myerkes@comcast.net .

I'm also looking for a few freebies to give to those in attendance. If you have a book, brochure, etc., along with information about your ministry that you'd like to donate as a "give away," please contact me at myerkes@comcast.net .

Do you live with chronic pain or illness? Do you struggle with isolation, loneliness, and depression because of your illness? While there are no quick fixes or easy cures, there is hope. Inspirational writer and speaker Mary Yerkes offers practical tips, tools, and resources to help you “live well” with chronic illness. Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 1997, Mary draws on her personal testimony, the stories of others, and advice from experts to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual components of chronic pain and illness. Learn how you can live a life of passion and purpose, one day at a time.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Blessings,
Mary

Hi Mary,

Kim and I are planning to attend the seminar. Warrenton is less than an hour from where we live in Fredericksburg, VA. I look forward to meeting you there.

Mary, I'd be happy to donate a box of goodies for you; some books, booksmarks ("13 Ways to Encourage a Chronically Ill Friend"), magazines, invisible illness week goodies, etc. I've also put together a Top 100 Christian books for those with Chronic Illness List. It's at www.restpublishers.com - feel free to print as many as you want to either distribute or to staple and let people flip through.
Bless you!
Lisa
