Lyrica also cuts back on the anxiety one experiences when they fear they will never get better or have a life again. It is supposed to help with sleep, but, I still have problems with waking up frequently at night. That may just be me. May the Lyrica be the miracle for you that it has been for me. Gotta work now. Finally I talked my doctor into prescribing Lyrica. It has helped tremendously. This is the closest I have felt to normal in all this time. My pain has abated 75%. Thankfully Lyrica has recently been approved for fibromyalgia. I will pray for healing for you. Jackie

I had gradually been improving over recent years (still sick, but functional if I weighed my activities carefully) but went on a vacation a couple of months ago and have relapsed ever since.
